Apakah kebaikan membeli Kijang Emas ini?

1. harga yang agak rendah kerana terdapat dalam 3 saiz iaitu 1 troy ounce, 1/2 troy ounce dan 1/4 troy ounce. Syiling termahal pun cuma 1 Oz (31.10 gram, harga RM3000 ++). Tapi kalau nak tengok harga harian Kijang Emas, boleh lawati laman web Bank Negara malaysia di http://www.bnm.gov.my/index.php?ch=12&pg=141

2. Syiling ini ketulenannya ialah 999 (24 Karat). Jadi mutu emasnya terbaik.

3. Anda boleh membeli syiling Kijang Emas ini di Maybank, tapi cawangan tertentu sahaja. Jangan lupa bawa IC. 

4. Syiling ini boleh dijual semula kepada Maybank pada harga semasa ditolak antara 3.15% dan 3.20% (utk 1 Troy Ounce) . Ini boleh dikatakan rendah berbanding kedai emas yang biasanya menolak 10% – 15% daripada harga emas semasa. So dah untung.

5. Syiling ini boleh bawa ke pajak gadai kalau tak ada duit  anytime

Antara kelemahan membeli syiling Kijang Emas.

1. Kena bayar cash ( kalau kat kedai emas biasa boleh beli pakai kredit card)

2. Nak kena pergi Maybank awal-awal pagi. Kalau kat Melaka nie staff Maybank minta datang sebelum 12 tengahari.

3. Maybank punyalah sibuk… saya kena tunggu sejam, baru dapat beli.

4. Maybank staff akan beritahu yang syiling nie kena jaga elok-elok. tak boleh bengkok atau terguris sewaktu nak jual balik. kalau bengkok, mungkin Maybank tak akan beli balik. Lagi satu, jangan lupa bawa resit asal sewaktu anda membeli Kijang Emas ini sewaktu hendak menjual balik syiling ini.

Rasanya itu sahaja kelebihan/kelemahan yang saya dapat kenalpasti.

Sekarang, mari kita lihat harga syiling Kijang Emas (1 troy ounce) sewaktu dilancarkan pada 18/7/2001 sehingga 17/6/2008 ( dekat 7 tahun).

Membeli emas fizikal di kedai emas

Salah satu cara termudah membeli emas ialah dengan membeli di kedai emas yang berhampiran di tempat anda. Mudah kan?

Namun ada beberapa perkara penting yang perlu diambil kira sebelum anda membeli emas di kedai berkenaan.

1. Pertama sekali, disarankan anda membeli emas di kedai emas yang terkemuka contohnya Poh Kong, K.M Oli Mohamed dan Habib Jewel. Ini memudahkan anda untuk menjual kembali emas berkenaan pada masa depan.

2. Untuk tujuan pelaburan, emas itu mestilah gold bar 24Karat @ emas 999.
Jangan beli barang kemas. Ini kerana barang kemas harganya lebih tinggi sebab pertukangan + keuntungan kedai.

Contoh gold bar yang lain ialah PAPM Suisse (terkenal). Bukan semua kedai emas menjual gold bar. Kalau kedai emas tersebut tidak menjual gold bar, pergilah ke kedai emas lain.

3. Tanya kedai emas berkenaan samada mereka akan membeli balik emas tersebut dimasa hadapan. Biasanya kedai emas akan meminta anda untuk membawa balik resit jualan asal bila anda mahu menjual.

4. Tanya berapa jumlah potongan yang akan mereka tolak apabila anda menjual emas kembali. Biasanya potongan adalah lingkungan 10% ke 15%.

5. Tanya kedai berkenaan adakah ada tambahan potongan jika ketul emas berkenaan terguris atau bengkok.

6. Jika anda nak beli dengan kredit card, tanya berapa surcharge yang kena tambah, biasanya 2%

Bila anda sudah mendapat jawapan-jawapan ini, maka anda boleh membuat keputusan samada nak membeli di situ atau pergi ke kedai lain.

Kebaikan membeli di kedai emas.

1. Kedai emas biasanya senang nak cari dan berdekatan dengan tempat tinggal anda. Berbeza dengan pembelian syiling emas Kijang Emas yang cuma boleh dibeli di Maybank cawangan tertentu sahaja.

2. Boleh beli after office hour. Tak seperti membeli emas di bank yang opis hournya dari jam 9.00 pagi sehingga 4 petang, kedai emas kadang-kadang buka sampai pukul 10 malam.

3. Boleh beli pakai emas kat sana pakai kad kredit. So mudah sket kalau takder cash in hand  kalau nak beli emas kat bank kena pakai cash.

4. Dapat emas fizikal. Boleh pegang. seronok. Boleh gi gadai kalau sesak-sesak nak pakai duit 

5. kalau pandai tawar menawar, boleh dapat diskaun sket.

Antara Kelemahan beli emas di kedai emas.

1. Kalau beli kat kedai emas yang tak de brand name, mungkin dia akan tutup dan pergi ke tempat lain. Nanti susah nak jual balik.

2. Harga akan dipotong antara 10% ke 15% daripada harga semasa. Berbanding Kijang Emas yang cuma ditolak 3.1% – 3.2%.
